Read yourself by what you chose.

Each scene carries 2–3 semantic tags. Your choice updates the probability across 10 Origins. After 21 scenes, the Origin with the highest probability surfaces.

The choices, not the answers.

Most personality tests ask you about yourself; you describe yourself. ChoiceCodex doesn’t ask you about you — it watches what you choose across 21 scenes. Your decision arrives before your words.

Hyperion · hold · before dawn

The quartermaster hands you the ledger. "Three days short on stock. The signature's mine, but I didn't know — someone's been coming in on my watch." Port is three weeks away. The captain asks for the ledger at dawn.

A Take the ledger; write the report yourself. You'll speak to the captain. B Hand it back to him. He goes to the captain, he answers.

What you walk away with.

Backstage film

A film made from your choices. The backstage of your decisions.

This isn’t a test.

ChoiceCodex isn’t a personality quiz. Across 21 scenes you make decisions. The system computes which Origin you surface in. You walk away with a reading — drawn from what you chose, not what you said.

What we’re actually doing

  1. 01

    Scenario

Each scene is a fictional moment: 1923, the Arctic, the Hyperion. The decision is real.

  2. 02

    Choice

Which way you turn matters; how you turn matters more. Both go on record.

  3. 03

    Reading

A Bayesian engine computes which of the 10 Origins you surface in.

Frequently asked

Why 21 scenes?
The Bayesian engine reaches a confident reading at 21 scenes. Fewer leaves the reading ambiguous; more introduces fatigue and distorts the late choices. 21 is the balance between experience quality and measurement clarity.
Why paid?
The 21 scenes, the reading, the shareable certificate, and the compatibility system are all free. Only the personalised "backstage film" — generated separately for each user from their own choices — is paid.
Why "ChoiceCodex"?
Choice — your revealed preference. Codex — a record, an archive. The organised record of what you chose. Not a quiz; a codex written by your own decisions.
